Grace is a tough concept. The reason why Grace isn’t the first thing we think about doing is because when Adam and Eve sinned, they broke the intended relationship we were supposed to have with God. It created a separation that will leave us empty if we don’t turn to Jesus.

Paul writes in Romans 7:15, I don’t really understand myself, for I want to do what is right, but I don’t do it. Instead, I do what I hate.

How true is this for our lives. We want to do what is right, but we do what we hate. I know for me that I’ve done plenty of things that I knew were wrong according to God, but I did them anyways. I was thinking “What’s wrong with me?!?!” It’s the sin that entered the world back in Genesis through Adam and Eve. The great thing is that God sent his son Jesus to Extend Grace to everyone.

It gets even harder when we have to extend Grace to the people around us. Christians are known for being judgmental. Hello! I’m one of them. While it is something that I have to continue to work on daily, I still struggle with it.

I want to challenge you to Extend Grace to everyone around you. When we recognize the Grace that God has extended us through his son, it drives us to be more understanding of others. It’s because of Grace that we can live.
