Sometimes in life we make decisions based on if it will benefit us or not. Often times the things that we think will benefit us, in reality, hurt us the most. We all have heard the saying “If I knew back then what I know now, I would have done things differently.” It’s not that we made a bad decision on purpose, sometimes we honestly didn’t know. Now if you do make a bad decision even when you knew the right thing to do, that is the definition of a fool. I’ll give everyone reading this the benefit of the doubt that you’re not that person. Been there and done that…got the t-shirt.

I want to ask you the question…is doing what you want worth it? In the garden of Eden, Adam and Eve thought that what they wanted was worth it. They thought they knew better than God and decided to do what they wanted to. Have you been there before? I know God said in his Word…but…I really want to do what I want to do…it won’t be that bad. If it goes against God’s Word, it will not end well. God has not changed since the beginning and he’s not going to change either. What has to change is you. You have the opportunity to make a choice that will change your eternal destiny forever. That choice is Jesus. Let me tell you…He IS worth it.

Romans 5:8 – But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

No matter how bad you think you’ve messed up. No matter if you think that what you have done is irreversible. No matter if you _______. (fill in the blank)

God is a faithful God and He wants a relationship with you.

Romans 10:9-10 – That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Thank you Jesus.
